Facility Information Services (FIS) is comprised of four main functions; Geographical Information Services (GIS), Space & Facilities Analytics, Engineering Records, and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Center.
These functional groups bring together spatial and facilities information and are data custodians for university geospatial, engineering, space inventory data and responsible for ongoing support of the university's asset management system. They are your primary resource for space data and coding changes, floor plan changes and mapping.
Note: FIS has oversight of the Space Classification Standards, TRIRIGA, UMN Space Viewer, and UM Analytics
